The Punjab School Education Department has announced the winter vacation schedule for schools across the province.
According to an official notification, all government and private schools in Punjab will remain closed from December 20 to January 10, 2025.
The notification stated that the decision applies to all educational institutions under the jurisdiction of the department. Schools are set to reopen on January 13, 2025, following the vacation period.
Meanwhile, the Sindh Education Department also issued an official notification regarding the winter holidays for educational institutions across the province.

According to the notification, all private and government schools in Sindh will observe holidays from December 21 to 31. The decision applies uniformly to both public and private educational institutions.
A spokesperson from the department said, “The decision ensures uniform implementation of winter vacations throughout Sindh."
