The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Saturday that four major bus stations in Dubai would provide free WiFi starting Sunday, December 1.
According to details, Satwa, Union, Al Ghubaiba and Gold Souq bus stations became the first locations to offer this service.
Officials added that they planned to expand the free WiFi network to include all bus stations across the city soon.
Separately in Pakistan, it was reported that Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab announced the launch of free WiFi services at all major parks and recreational spots in the city.
“Karachi has now joined the ranks of cities offering such services to its residents. With the increasing use of smartphones, the availability of WiFi at recreational spots has become a necessity,” said Mayor Wahab.
