UAE airlines have unveiled exciting promotions on airfares ahead of the Eid Al Etihad (National Day) holidays, making it easier for travelers to book last-minute flights.
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the UAE's ultra-low-cost national carrier, is offering discounts of up to 30% on travel between December 1, 2023, and March 31, 2025.
The "Pink Friday" promotion includes fares for Wizz Air Abu Dhabi's expanded winter schedule, featuring a new destination, Varna, with tickets starting at just AED 279. Other destinations are also part of the sale, with fares as low as AED 89, available on wizzair.com and the WIZZ app, which is now offered in Arabic.
“Travellers can already enjoy the benefits of the enhanced Winter schedule, with 40 per cent more seat capacity,” the airline said in a statement.
“As we embrace the holiday season, we are excited to announce our exclusive Pink Friday offer—up to 30 per cent off on selected flights. This promotion, combined with our enhanced Winter schedule, allows our passengers to book their well-deserved holiday getaways while saving more with ease of mind," said Johan Eidhagen, the managing director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.
The airline offers affordable flights to popular destinations, including Alexandria (Egypt), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Amman (Jordan), Aqaba (Jordan), Baku (Azerbaijan), Belgrade (Serbia), Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Cairo (Egypt), and more.
India’s flag carrier, Air India, has joined the sale frenzy with its Black Friday promotion, offering up to 20% off base fares for domestic flights and up to 12% off international fares to destinations like the United States, Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
Additionally, Air India is waiving convenience fees for bookings made on its website or mobile app during the sale period, providing extra savings of INR 399 (AED 17.32) for domestic flights and up to INR 999 (AED 43.36) for international trips.
IndiGo, another Indian airline, has introduced special offers, including no charges for flight changes, up to a 6% discount on airfares, and an additional 10 kg baggage allowance for its passengers.
