The price of gold in Pakistan increased significantly on Friday, a day after a minor fall, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola hiked by Rs2,100, settling at Rs277,300, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,800, taking it to Rs237,740.

In the international market also, the price of gold rose by a good $21 on Friday, reaching $2,661 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
Silver prices in the local market, however, remained stable at Rs3,400 per tola.
