The Pakistan Army has rescued Pakistani mountaineers in a successful operation.
Recently, a team of four Pakistanis successfully summited Broad Peak, including Anum Azir and Ammar Butt. During the summit, Anum Azir and Ammar Butt experienced frostbite and snow blindness.
Seeking rescue from the Pakistan Army, they were promptly rescued by an army helicopter after the alert was received.
The mountaineers thanked the Pakistan Army for their prompt rescue, motivated purely by humanitarian concerns, and for bringing them safely to Skardu.
