After a day of slight increase, the price of gold in Pakistan saw a massive decrease on Thursday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs2,600, settling at Rs273,300, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs2,229, taking it to Rs234,311.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a good dip of $26 on Thursday, reaching $2,621 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of silver in the local market also dropped by Rs50 to reach Rs3,350 per tola.
