Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Sunday vowed to deliver for the people of Sialkot.
Addressing the public gathering in Sialkot, the three-time prime minister said, ‘’We will create the opportunity for Sialkot to uplift. Though we had constructed a motorway, we did not get the opportunity to inaugurate it. We will again construct the motorway.’’
‘’We will make all-out efforts for the people of Sialkot. We will also take the initiative of launching the train programme,’’ Nawaz said.
He questioned, ‘’Who else is saying that the youth not standing with the PML-N?’’

Nawaz lamented that the country was moving behind, adding that the country would not have to face problems like unemployment if the PML-N led government was not ousted. The PML-N chief questioned: ‘’Was 2017 better or the contemporary 2024?’’
‘’How much the prices of basic commodities like roti and petrol have increased, which is a great injustice for the nation,’’ Nawaz said.
Nawaz said, ‘’There is a dire need to once again accelerate the speed of development. But for that, you [masses] should make a promise to stand with us [PML-N].’’
Praising PML-N senior leader Khawaja Asif, Nawaz said, ‘’Khawaja Asif is a staunch supporter, with whom I am having a 55-year-old relationship of friendship. Both of us had studied together. His [Khawaja Asif’s] father had given me political training. There are many friends of mine from Sialkot.’’
