The courage and bravery with which Major Shabbir Sharif rendered a great sacrifice for the defence of the country is unparalleled, he remarked, and emphasised the strong unity of the entire nation against internal and external enemies.
The Pakistan Army is the only army that is successful against terrorism, Javed said, adding that the services and sacrifices of the soldiers and martyrs were the lifeblood of the nation.
He especially saluted the martyrs of the country who sacrificed their lives in the recent operations against terrorism.
The members of the delegation also paid great tribute to the heirs of the martyrs.
