After remaining stable for a day, the price of gold in Pakistan saw a minor drop on Tuesday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs800, settling at Rs272,600, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs685, taking it to Rs233,711.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a decrease of $8 on Tuesday, reaching $2,614 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of silver in the local market remained stable at Rs3,350 per tola.
