A Serene Air flight carrying Umrah pilgrims failed to arrive in Karachi even after 48 hours, causing severe inconvenience to passengers.
The flight, numbered ER 402, was expected to land at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport from Jeddah at 11:15 pm on March 19. However, the flight was cancelled at the time of departure for reasons that remained unknown.
Passengers, many of whom had been eagerly awaiting their return, were transferred to a hotel, but no information was provided to them regarding the rescheduled departure.
The travellers, including several Umrah pilgrims, faced hardships due to the unavailability of the flight.
An official statement from the airline’s spokesperson could not be obtained to clarify the situation or provide any further details.
