The Met Department has predicted that the first 10 days of Ramadan will be colder than usual, with rainfall expected in various parts of the country.
According to the latest weather forecast, temperatures are likely to remain below normal levels during the early days of the holy month. The department has also indicated the possibility of both heavy and light rain on Monday and Tuesday, further contributing to the cold conditions.
Islamabad and several other regions are expected to experience lower-than-average temperatures, making the start of Ramadan cooler than usual.

Various parts of the country, including Islamabad and Rawalpindi, experienced intermittent rain for the third consecutive day on Friday. The highest recorded rainfall in the capital was 8mm in Saidpur.
According to the Meteorological Department, the rain spell is expected to continue until March 1. The ongoing rain has affected the Pakistan vs Bangladesh match at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, causing interruptions in play.
A strong westerly wave has triggered heavy rain and snowfall across northern Pakistan, leading to road closures and hazardous travel conditions. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for Murree, Galliyat, Naran, Kaghan, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Shangla, Astore, Hunza, Skardu, Neelum Valley, Bagh, Poonch, and Haveli, where heavy precipitation may cause slippery roads and landslides.
