The incumbent government decided on Sunday to take the parliament on board over the rising terror wave.
According to details, the premier had summoned the joint session (of both houses) Parliamentary National Security Committee meeting convened on Tuesday at 1:30 pm.
The military leadership will brief the in-camera meeting on the country's overall security situation.
Moreover, the suggestion given by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari of launching the "National Action Plan 2" will also be taken into account.
The key decisions were expected in the forthcoming Parliamentary National Security Committee meeting for speeding up operations against the terrorists.
