The price of gold in Pakistan saw a massive increase on Wednesday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs2,900, settling at Rs280,800, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold hiked by Rs2,487, taking it to Rs240,741.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a rise of $29 on Wednesday, reaching $2,690 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of silver in the local market remained stable at Rs3,350 per tola.
