Former deputy commissioner of Lahore, Rafia Haider, has been appointed as the head of women's cricket. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has approved the appointment, after which Rafia Haider took charge of her office.
According to sources, the former deputy commissioner was appointed as the head of women's cricket after the approval of the PCB chairman.
According to sources, Rafia Haider has joined the PCB on deputation, as the post of head of women's cricket was vacant after Tania Malik's resignation.
Rafia Haider has previously served as the deputy commissioner of Lahore. According to sources, Ms Haider has initiated regular work after taking charge of her new office.
Reportedly, ASP Shehrbano Naqvi was also among the candidates for the women's cricket position.
