The cold weather continued on Friday to intensify in the Balochistan's provincial capital, but the masses were enjoying it with the variety of dry fruits.
According to details, the citizens across Quetta were interested in purchasing the peanuts to double up the joy of the cold weather.
The icy wind was prevailing in Quetta, but the citizens had their plans to enjoy the weather with verve.
One of the citizens expressed his thoughts, saying, "The value of eating peanuts is not less than the almond and chilgoza for the poor segment of the society."
The cold weather had turned out to be the silver lining for the shopkeepers as the large number of people made their way to the dry fruit shops.
One of the pluses of the peanuts is that they were popular among all the age groups.

Separately, few days back the citizens had found a great way of celebrating the cold Quetta weather with the traditional sajji.
According to details, the people had nothing to do with the frosty weather as they turned up at the food street with their loved ones to enjoy delicious sajji.
One of the shopkeepers shed light on the sajji preparation method, saying, "The meat is roasted over coal to make juicy sajji."
Mohammad Abid, who was preparing sajji for the last 30 years, said, "The salty and delicious sajji is the tradition of Balochistan."
