Gold prices in Pakistan surged today, registering a notable increase of Rs 3,000 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-carat gold now stands at Rs 321,000 per tola, marking a significant rise in the domestic market.
In line with this increase, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 2,572, reaching Rs 275,205.
The price hike in Pakistan is attributed to a $30 increase in the global gold price, which now stands at $3,040 per ounce, according to the association.
Experts suggest that the upward trend in gold prices may continue, driven by global economic factors and growing demand for precious metals.
This increase in gold prices follows a consistent pattern observed in recent months, making gold a more valuable commodity in the local market.
