The first day of 2025 has brought a large number of tourists to Murree, eager to welcome the New Year amidst snowfall. Dark clouds have covered the skies, creating a picturesque winter ambiance.
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain and snowfall are expected in Murree and the Galiyat starting this evening, with snowy conditions likely to persist until January 6.
Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has announced the establishment of 13 facilitation centers to assist tourists. Irfan Ali Kathia, the DG PDMA, has urged travelers to check weather updates before embarking on their journey to Murree.
The district administration has assured visitors of their presence to ensure safety and provide guidance throughout the winter season.
