The price of gold in Pakistan saw a second consecutive increase on Thursday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by just Rs1,100, settling at Rs274,700, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold hiked by Rs943, taking it to Rs235,511.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a rise of $11 on Thursday, reaching $2,635 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of silver in the local market remained stable at Rs3,350 per tola.
