Former Indian legendary cricketer Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar has lavished his praise on bowling all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy for putting up a resilient show with the bat against Australia on day three of the fourth Test against Australia.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Tendulkar said: “A knock by Nitish. He has impressed me right from the first Test.” He acknowledged the temperament of the youngster, saying, “His [Nitish Kumar Reddy's] composure and temperament have been on display right through.”
“Today he took it a notch higher to play a crucial innings in this series,” he maintained.
Tendulkar also praised Washington Sundar for completing his half-century and extending support to Reddy and tried to continue the fight against the Australian bowlers.
“Wonderfully and ably supported by Washington Sundar as well. Well played!”
