The Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), in partnership with Abu Dhabi Police, has announced temporary restrictions on the entry of trucks and heavy vehicles into Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Zayed City.
These restrictions will be implemented on December 2 and 3, 2024, to ensure smooth traffic flow and enhance safety during the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations. This decision is aimed at ensuring smooth flow of traffic and enhancing safety during the National Day celebrations.
Additionally, the Integrated Transport Centre and Abu Dhabi Police have updated the movement restrictions for heavy vehicles on Fridays. Starting December 6, 2024, trucks will be prohibited from operating between 11 AM and 1 PM during the Friday peak hours. Restrictions for other weekday peak periods remain unchanged.
