The Child Protection & Welfare Bureau (CPWB) Multan arranged a guided tour of Multan Garrison for its students and teachers, providing them with firsthand exposure to military operations and equipment.
During the visit, Pakistan Army personnel introduced the children to small arms and military apparatus, offering insights into defense capabilities. The CPWB, established in 2004, represents a significant Punjab government initiative for protecting and educating vulnerable children.
The bureau has expanded its services across the province, establishing centers in major cities including Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan. These facilities focus on providing care, education, and protection to underprivileged children.
The participants concluded their visit by expressing their commitment to national service, acknowledging the military's role in national defense.
