The Frontier Corps Balochistan (South) organized a series of vibrant events to honor the legacy of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the renowned philosopher-poet and national icon of Pakistan.
The main event was held at the FC Headquarters (South) in Turbat, where students from various educational institutions participated in a series of competitions.
The concluding ceremony saw the participation of students from the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation School, Government Ata Shad Degree College, and Government Girls Degree College in Turbat. The highlight of the event was a speech competition focusing on the life and contributions of Allama Iqbal, as well as his poetry and philosophy.
In the English-language speech contest, Shehzad, a student from Ata Shad Degree College, claimed first place with his insightful oration. Meanwhile, Shahida, a student from Government Girls Degree College, secured first place in the Urdu speech competition for her compelling performance.
The event concluded with the chief guest distributing prizes to the winning students, applauding their dedication and eloquence in celebrating the ideals of Iqbal. This event was a testament to the importance of instilling a sense of national pride and understanding of Pakistan’s intellectual heritage among the youth.
