The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Sunday locked horns over the street crime in Karachi.
According to details, MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui gave an ultimatum to the Sindh government for controlling street crime in the provincial capital.
Meanwhile, hitting out at Siddiqui, PPP leader Zia Lanjar said: "The MQM-P convener should refrain from making irrelevant statements."
"We are also the sons of Sindh. We will not only maintain law and order in Karachi but in the entire Sindh," Siddiqui said.

On Saturday, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori on Saturday urged Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari to take street crime seriously.
Tessori reached the residence of rider Ali Rahbar, who was killed for putting up resistance against robbery. On this occasion, Tessori questioned: "Why can't the government manage to stop such incidents?”
He said: “Now I will no longer remain silent and raise my voice against the street crime." It is time to resolve to stop the street crime at any cost.”
“The police should stop sitting in the station and control the street crime,” he added.
