The Met Department forecasts partly cloudy conditions with chances of rain in Islamabad and surrounding regions.
According to a spokesperson, some areas are expected to see light rain, bringing brief respite from dry conditions.
Meanwhile, parts of Punjab are likely to experience persistent smog and fog. Major cities affected include Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Narowal, and Gujranwala, with heavy smog and fog expected in Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Multan, and Rahim Yar Khan.
Travellers and residents have been advised to take precautions as visibility may be reduced in these areas.
The forecast also indicates a chance of rain during the night in cities such as Lahore, Attock, Murree, and Rawalpindi. Rainfall is also expected in northern areas, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Peshawar, and Kohat.
In contrast, Sindh and Balochistan will likely continue to experience hot and dry weather, with no significant change expected in the coming days.
