The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has officially opened the window for submissions for the 2024 Jamat-10th Science and General Group annual examinations!
Both regular and private students have the opportunity to register, including those seeking to retake exams, improve their grades, add additional papers, or participate from other boards.
Chairman Board Dr. Syed Sharaf Ali Shah has emphasized the inclusivity of the process, welcoming students from diverse backgrounds.
Who can apply?
- Regular students enrolled in affiliated schools
- Private students aiming for their first attempt
- Students seeking improvement of grades in specific subjects
- Candidates aiming for additional papers
- Students who appeared in exams from other boards in 2024
Application process:
- Regular students: Forms will be available at the BSEK accounts section. Attach a photocopy of your practical paper's question paper.
- Private students and female students: Obtain forms from the board office booth or affiliated banks. Get the form verified by the concerned section before submitting.
- Private schools: Submit online forms and deposit fees (with fee vouchers) through National Bank only.
- Government schools and institutions: Get and submit forms free of charge from the BSEK accounts section.

- Application deadline: March 25th, 2024
- Late fees:
- Rs. 500 (February 27th - March 4th)
- Rs. 800 (March 5th - 11th)
- Rs. 1200 (March 12th - 18th)
- Rs. 1500 (March 19th - 25th)
- Rs. 2500 (after March 25th)
- Form cost (for non-affiliated schools): Rs. 100 per form, available through pay order to the Board Secretary.
Heads of schools have been advised against sending students individually to the board office for form submissions, ensuring a streamlined and organized process.
