Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) stalwart Khursheed Shah on Tuesday resolved to lower the political temperature.
Sadiq and Shah held a meeting in Lahore. Both leaders exchanged views on the country's political climate. Sadiq and Shah had also conveyed the message of their leaders' messages to each other.
Both the leaders had agreed to embrace political stability and tolerance.

Earlier today, PML-N had considered the possibility of seat adjustments with the political parties under former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's leadership.

The PML-N's central leadership had discussed the matter in line with the party's ticket distribution for the forthcoming general elections, scheduled to take place on February 8.
Prominent among those who attended the key meeting were PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif, former Punjab chief minister Hamza Shehbaz, PML-N chief organiser Maryam Nawaz, and former interior minister Rana Sanaullah.
