Kuwait is set to launch a Family Visa option in early 2024, according to the Ministry of Interior's considerations.
The Article 22 visa applicants, catering to family or dependents, will be limited to specific expatriate categories like doctors, university professors, applied education professors, and counsellors.
The eligibility criteria remain undisclosed, as the ministry plans to form a committee to define conditions for expatriate groups allowed to bring their families.

This aligns with the demographic strategy led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled.
Moreover, details have been revealed about the unified Gulf visa mechanism for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
Individuals overstaying visas will face a daily fine of KD100, and the regulations include mandatory health insurance and hotel reservation throughout the stay.
