Army Public School (APS) Akora Khattak won the first position in the documentary competition about the correct use and conservation of water in Pakistan.
In collaboration with the Pakistan Council of Research in Water, International Water Management Institute and UNICEF, documentary competitions were organized between different schools of Pakistan on the proper use and conservation of water.
In these competitions, students of 75 schools and colleges from all over Pakistan participated. The documentary produced by the children of Army Public School, Akora Khattak stood first.
Eight male and female students of Army Public School Akora Khattak took part in the documentary contest, successfully highlighting the issue of future of water in Pakistan in an awareness video.
Through the documentary, the children urged the public to use water properly so that scarcity can be prevented by making people aware of the issue. The awareness of children regarding water scarcity in the future is an encouraging gesture.
Such events will help provide a better future for the coming generations. The closing ceremony of the competition was held on December 8 at Pakistan-China Center in Islamabad.
