Poco has introduced its latest smartphone, the Poco C65, as an upgrade to the earlier Poco C55.
This new device boasts several enhancements, including a 90Hz refresh rate display, improved camera capabilities, and faster charging.
The Poco C65 features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, offering a peak brightness of 600 nits.
Notably, the display is TUV-certified for reduced blue light emissions and incorporates DC dimming.
Users can unlock the phone through a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner or utilize the selfie camera for facial recognition.
Additionally, the device retains the convenience of a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Under the hood, the Poco C65 is powered by a 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 processor, similar to its predecessor, but now comes in both 6GB and 8GB RAM options.
The front camera has been upgraded to 8MP from 5MP and includes a soft light ring for enhanced low-light photography.
On the rear, the device sports a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, complemented by a 2MP macro lens.
The phone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, although the package includes a 10W charger.
An important improvement over the Poco C55 is the inclusion of a USB-C port.
The Poco C65 is available in two configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage or 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage.
It comes in three color options – black, blue, and purple.
Pricing and availability details are yet to be officially announced, but as a part of Poco's C series, it is expected to offer excellent affordability, likely priced at around $100 or even less.
