Netflix has officially announced the streaming release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, the highly anticipated sequel to Pushpa: The Rise.
While the Telugu original and Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam dubs will arrive on the platform soon, the Hindi-dubbed version will face a delay.
Extended OTT version
Despite the delay, Netflix has planned an extended version of Pushpa 2 featuring 23 minutes of additional content. The film’s theatrical release on January 17, 2025, already included 20 extra minutes beyond its original cut. The upcoming OTT version will further extend the runtime to 223 minutes, adding 3 minutes of exclusive material available only on Netflix.

Official date for Hindi release
While reports suggest the Hindi-dubbed version may be available by mid-February, Netflix has not yet provided an official release date. This has led to speculation among fans, especially given the Hindi version’s massive box-office success following its theatrical premiere on December 5, 2024.
Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2 continues the story of Pushpa Raj, played by Allu Arjun. The film’s soundtrack, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with additional scoring by Sam CS, has further heightened anticipation for the digital release.
Despite the delay, fans of the franchise can soon enjoy Pushpa 2 on Netflix in multiple languages, with the extended version offering new content to enhance the viewing experience. Once the Hindi version drops, it is expected to draw massive viewership, reflecting its strong theatrical performance.
