The price of gold in Pakistan witnessed a further decline on Monday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased slightly by Rs300, settling at the highest ever Rs289,100, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs257, taking it to Rs247,856.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a drop of $3 on Monday, reaching $2,767 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of silver in the local market fell by Rs14 to reach Rs3,395 per tola.
