Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb announced that the tax return process for salaried individuals would be made easier.
In a speech at an event titled "Dialogue on the Economy" in Islamabad on Tuesday, the finance minister also expressed satisfaction over the increase in remittances and IT exports, calling these indicators positive for the national economy.
He stated that similar measures have already been implemented in other countries.
Aurangzeb said, "The consultations with various chambers of commerce regarding the new budget will take place next month."

Few days back, Aurangzeb said that the Pakistan's economy was on the verge of the speedy recovery.
Expressing his thoughts at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Aurangzeb said: "The country has witnessed the significant decrease in the interest rate. The gross domestic product (GDP) of the country is on the verge of improvement".
He stated, "Some of the biggest problems Pakistan is facing are the increasing population and climate change."
Aurangzeb said, "The work is being done on many programmes in Pakistan in line with the World Bank."
