The 10th Special Olympics Pakistan Marathon Race 2025 was held in Karachi that witnessed the participation of Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori and Olympic medalist Arshad Nadeem, alongside hundreds of enthusiastic participants.
The marathon was inaugurated by Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori and followed a route from I.I. Chundrigar Road and Tower, concluding at the Governor House.
A large number of men, women, and children actively participated, showcasing their spirit and determination on the track.
In the 21-kilometer half marathon, Natasha secured first place among women, while Sialkot's Qasim clinched the top spot among men.
During the closing ceremony, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori emphasized the importance of such events, stating, "All future events like this will be hosted at the Governor House. We must unite and progress together despite external forces attempting to create obstacles to investment here."
Olympic gold medalist and marathon brand ambassador Arshad Nadeem lauded the event's organization and its positive impact on sports development.
The ceremony also saw participation from notable figures, including the Consul Generals of Oman and Malaysia, who distributed prizes among the winners.
