The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the schedule for the much-anticipated tri-nation One-Day International (ODI) series, featuring Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa.
According to details, the series promised a showcase of cricketing excellence across Lahore and Karachi. The iconic Gaddafi Stadium, now revamped with an increased spectator capacity, was selected to host the matches between Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa.
The first match was scheduled for February 8, where Pakistan would face New Zealand, while the second clash, on 10 February, would witness New Zealand and South Africa competing at the same venue.
The Karachi stadium, which underwent significant upgrades, was set to host Pakistan’s match against South Africa on 12 February, followed by the grand final on 14 February.
Gaddafi Stadium’s enhancements included the installation of 480 modern LED lights to improve broadcasting standards, two large digital replay screens, and a hospitality enclosure for players and officials nearing completion.
Similarly, the Karachi stadium featured 350 advanced LED lights and a new hospitality enclosure at the University End for players and officials.
