A total of 107 Pakistanis have been deported from 12 countries, including the United States, Belgium, and Saudi Arabia, with several arrested upon their arrival in Karachi on charges of drug trafficking and counterfeit currency, officials said.
According to immigration authorities: the United States and Belgium each deported two individuals.
Oman deported 13 Pakistanis, while Saudi Arabia deported another 13 for various charges.
Iraq deported 12 Pakistanis, while two were sent back from both Qatar and Cyprus.
One Pakistani was deported each from Qatar, Senegal, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Bahrain.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) deported 40 Pakistanis on multiple flights.
Officials revealed that 11 deportees from the UAE were arrested on drug smuggling charges, while two were accused of circulating counterfeit currency.
The arrested individuals served jail terms in the UAE before being deported to Pakistan.
