The wave of deportations continues, as 258 more Pakistanis have been sent back to their homeland from seven countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and China.
Among them, 16 individuals were arrested upon arrival in Karachi for various legal violations. According to immigration authorities, 244 of the deportees were sent back using emergency travel documents, while 14 carried valid Pakistani passports.
The majority of the deportees -- 232 individuals -- were expelled from Saudi Arabia and 21 from the UAE, including seven beggars. These also included two individuals deported from Saudi Arabia, who were caught after performing Hajj without proper permits and had completed their sentences, while four who overstayed their Umrah visas were also sent back.

Moreover, 16 of the deportees from Saudi Arabia were staying back despite expiry of their visas.
Additionally, 27 Pakistanis were caught working without sponsors, while 112 were deported following complaints lodged by their sponsors. Among those deported from the UAE, four were implicated in drug smuggling.
Pakistanis were also deported from China, Qatar, Indonesia, Cyprus, and Nigeria, with one individual deported from each country. Immigration officials added 16 deportees from the UAE and Nigeria to their immigration stop list due to serious violations.

Offloading in Karachi
On the other hand, Karachi airport authorities offloaded 35 passengers attempting to travel abroad within 24 hours. Among these, 18 passengers on Umrah visas were stopped for failing to provide advance hotel bookings and sufficient funds.
Three individuals on work visas, four on personal visit visas, and a woman travelling on a visit visa to Saudi Arabia were also denied boarding due to incomplete or improper documentation.
