After remaining unchanged for a day, the price of gold in Pakistan saw a rise on Wednesday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by just Rs1,000, settling at Rs273,600, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold hiked by Rs857, taking it to Rs234,568.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a rise of $10 on Wednesday, reaching $2,624 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of silver in the local market remained stable at Rs3,350 per tola.
