Renowned Indian sports journalist Vikrant Gupta reacted on Sunday to Pakistan's narrow defeat to South Africa.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Gupta had offered some perspective on the match, saying, "The one consolation Pakistan can derive from this defeat is that losing to tougher teams in tough conditions can only help you improve."
Gupta also congratulated South Africa, recognising their achievement in becoming the first team to secure a spot in the World Test Championship Finals.
He added, "Congrats South Africa for being the first team to make World Test Championship Finals."
