Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti announced on Thursday the collaborative welfare projects through public-private partnerships during a conference in Quetta.
According to details, Bugti described corruption as a major problem and outlined ongoing efforts to combat it. He shared that recruitment in the education department prioritised merit, yet some individuals presented fake degrees.
He said: "Many NGOs operated with specific agendas and emphasised the state's limitations in providing government jobs to all citizens."
Bugti stressed the need for society to condemn terrorism and support its prevention. He announced that the government would bear the cost of 16 years of education for children of civilian martyrs.
He explained that Balochistan formulated development plans within limited resources but noted that departments failed to fully utilise Rs200 billion allocated under PSDP.
