Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan sister, Aleema Khan, said that it was up to the overseas Pakistanis to send their remittances to the country or not.
Speaking outside Adiala jail, she quoted the PTI's founder, who stated that if the government showed seriousness towards two negotiation demands, the call to halt remittances would be withdrawn.
She urged the Supreme Court of Pakistan's (SCP) three senior judges to investigate the 9 May and 26 November incidents.
She also quoted PTI's founder, who demanded the release of all political prisoners while agreeing to remain in jail if necessary.
She confirmed that PTI's founder refused to accept house arrest as an alternative to imprisonment.
