The price of gold in Pakistan saw a significant hike on Thursday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola hiked by Rs1,400, settling at Rs274,000, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,200, taking it to Rs234,911.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a rise of $14 on Thursday, reaching $2,628 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of silver in the local market remained stable at Rs3,350 per tola.
