The government decided on Sunday to maintain the price of petrol at Rs252.10 per litre for the next fortnight starting from December 16 (Monday).
According to details, a notification was issued confirming that there will be no change in the petrol rate.
Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has decreased by Rs3.05 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs255.38. The cost of kerosene also reduced by Rs3.32 per litre, with the new price set at Rs161.66.
Additionally, the price of light diesel has dropped by Rs2.78, bringing it to Rs148.95 per litre.
Earlier, this month the finance ministry issued a notification revising petroleum product prices for the next fortnight, starting from December 1 (Sunday).
According to details, petrol became costlier by Rs3.72 per litre, setting the new price at Rs252.10 per litre. High-speed diesel (HSD) saw an increase of Rs3.29 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs258.43 per litre.
