The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle arrested three suspects in connection with the leaking of the MDCAT exam paper across Karachi and Sindh.
The arrested individuals were allegedly involved in providing leaked exam papers to students in exchange for money.
The suspects, identified as Shiraz Bilal, Tariq Aziz Samo, and Shan Durrani, were reportedly key members of a group that leaked MDCAT exam papers in 2023 and 2024.
FIA investigations uncovered incriminating evidence, including screenshots from the suspects’ mobile devices showing leaked papers sent to candidates.
The ongoing inquiry revealed the suspects' involvement in a larger network linked to exam fraud.
Authorities lodged a case naming 15 individuals, including university officials and test organisers, as co-accused in the scandal.
Efforts to apprehend other members of the group continued as FIA intensified its operations against those implicated in the case.
