Actor and comedian Sunil Pal, who went missing for a few hours on Tuesday, has returned home safely, according to his wife, Sarita Pal. She alleged that Sunil was kidnapped and has since provided a statement to the police regarding the incident.
In an interview, Sarita confirmed, "Sunil ji is back home, Sunil ji gave his statement about kidnappers to police after coming. Police is helping and supporting us, Everything is fine with him, rest of the matter we will soon open up to our well wishers once police allow us after complete statement procedure and FIR."
Film trade analyst Girish Wankhede revealed that Sunil had mentioned facing some "problems". “But he is out of it. He is now taking a flight from Delhi to Mumbai,” he added.
Sunil had traveled outside Mumbai to perform at a show and informed his wife he would return on Tuesday, December 3. When he failed to return and could not be reached, his wife sought assistance from the police. Hours later, Sunil contacted his family, informing them that he was on his way back home. He arrived late Tuesday evening. “Sunil ji see baat ho gayee (I talked to Sunil). He talked to Police," Sunil's wife told a journalist.

The Indian comedian and actor had gone missing after attending a show on December 3. His wife, Sarita Pal, lodged a missing person’s report with the Santacruz Police Station after several failed attempts to reach him. According to Sarita, Sunil had traveled outside Mumbai for a performance and was expected to return home on the night of December 3.
However, when he failed to return as planned, and his phone remained switched off, she grew increasingly concerned and filed the complaint with the police. An investigation is currently underway.
Sunil Pal gained popularity after winning the comedy reality show 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' in 2005. He later appeared in supporting roles in Bollywood films such as 'Hum Tum', 'Phir Hera Pheri', 'Apna Sapna Money Money', and 'Bombay to Goa'.
