Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peace Football Tournament had an eventful closing ceremony under the coordination of the Bajaur district administration and facilitated by the Pakistan Army along with Frontier Corps North.
There was the five-day competition that featured 16 teams of districts in a final contest when Bajaur took over Chitral on a neck-to-neck penalty shootout. The event envisioned sports and harmony in the region.
The closing ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Inspector General Frontier Corps North Major General Anjum Riaz. He awarded medals, trophies, and prizes to players and teams he found remarkable.
A performance by the Frontier Corps North band with traditional patriotic tunes, along with innovative local artists and traditional music and dance, rounded off the evening with a thunderous fireworks display that drew applause from all over.
