The International Cricket Council (ICC) continued on Saturday to favor India on the Champions Trophy issue despite the fact that Pakistan will host the highly anticipated tournament slated to happen earlier next year.
Sources divulged that the cricket global governing body had been exposed in terms of creating differences between Pakistan and India. The ICC had not even felt the need to mention Pakistan’s name as the hosts for the Champions Trophy in its statement pertaining to the trophy tour.
The ICC had not even mentioned the three venues for the mega-event in the statement.
Moreover, none of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) statements had been included by the ICC.
The global cricket body had also remained reluctant to mention the Pakistan fans.
Meanwhile, the ICC’s attitude towards Pakistan had invited the fans’ wrath.
