Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has reached the United States to attend the swearing-in ceremony of US President-elect Donald Trump.
According to sources, Interior Minister Naqvi will attend the swearing-in ceremony of Trump, while he will also hold important meetings in the United States. Naqvi's meetings with American officials are also expected during his visit.
Donald Trump is scheduled to take oath of office as the 47th president of the US on Monday at 10pm Pakistan time. The chief justice of the US Supreme Court will administer the oath of office to Trump.
President Joe Biden, and former presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama will also attend the swearing-in ceremony. Additionally, Argentinean President Javier Milei, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and former Pakistani foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari are also scheduled to attend the inauguration ceremony.

The ceremony coincides with Martin Luther King Jr. Day and will occur at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, DC.

The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to begin at 12pm Eastern Time (ET). The vice president-elect will be sworn in first, followed by Trump, who will recite the presidential oath of office as mandated by the US Constitution.
