Severe fog has disrupted flight operations across the country, causing cancellations, delays, and diversions. According to airport authorities, 11 flights were cancelled, 3 diverted to alternate airports, and 53 domestic and international flights experienced significant delays.
Cancellations: Karachi-Faisalabad flights PK340 and PK341. PIA flights: PK322 and PK323 between Lahore and Quetta
Diversions: Saudi Airlines flight SV738 from Jeddah to Lahore was rerouted to Islamabad.
Delays: Six flights between Karachi and Islamabad and five flights from Karachi to Lahore and 19 flights at Lahore Airport.
Passengers have been advised to check updated schedules before heading to the airport to avoid inconvenience. Airlines and airport authorities are working to manage the disruption while ensuring passenger safety.
