China reiterated its steadfast support for Pakistan in countering terrorism and strengthening bilateral cooperation.
A statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry emphasized that China and Pakistan remain united in their fight against terrorism and that all attempts to undermine their close relationship will be foiled.
“Terrorists will pay the price for what they did,” a ministry spokesman said, adding that China and Pakistan are strategic partners.
A spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry stressed that any effort to harm mutual cooperation or weaken the strategic partnership between the two nations is bound to be unsuccessful. “Any attempts to harm the mutual cooperation and trust between China and Pakistan will fail,” the spokesperson added.
The spokesperson underscored the depth of China-Pakistan relations, describing it as a friendship rooted in both nations’ hearts and minds.
"China will continue to support Pakistan’s economic and social development, and our cooperation in various fields will bring benefits to the people of both countries," the spokesperson added, reaffirming China’s dedication to Pakistan’s progress.
The ministry’s statement also addressed the safety of Chinese citizens in Pakistan, stressing the shared resolve of both governments to ensure security. "Both countries have the determination and ability to teach terrorists a lesson," the spokesperson noted.
“Any attempts to damage bilateral relations will not be allowed to succeed,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry said.
