The Pakistan Army, in collaboration with Special Communications Organization (SCO), has established a pioneering freelancing hub at Government Boys High School Gupis in Gilgit-Baltistan's Ghizer district, marking a significant development in the region's digital infrastructure.
School Principal Umar Jan welcomed the initiative, describing it as the first comprehensive digital skills center in Gupis. The facility will offer training in online business development, freelancing, and digital marketing to local students.
The hub has been designed to address the contemporary needs of youth in the area, focusing on creating sustainable employment opportunities through digital skills development. Principal Jan emphasized that the facility will serve as a crucial resource for students to acquire modern digital competencies.
"This initiative represents a vital step toward meeting current market demands," stated Jan, expressing gratitude to the Pakistan Army and SCO for their contribution to the region's educational development.
